Here in the Pro Shop at Davyhulme, we’re passionate about helping you play better golf.

Every golfer enjoys the game more when they’re hitting good shots and playing well. This is our mission for you.

Think back to your last few rounds and try to pinpoint an area that cost you shots…

Maybe, you had too many three-putts as a result of poor distance control? Or did you miss too many fairways to the right meaning you had to chip out sideways? It could be that you play well in practice rounds with your friends but struggle to replicate that in competitions?

Through our experiences in the game and our PGA education, we appreciate that every golfer is different. That’s why we offer a range of lessons and packages to suit everyone.

Lessons are available for an introductory rate of £25 for half an hour and £35 for fifty minutes, which can be performed in a well-equipped swingroom, with the use of a state of the art TrackMan ball flight analysis machine and Video software technology. Junior lessons are also available upon request at the price of £15 for half an hour.

Martyn Hamer - Head Professional

Martyn has experience of working at some of the finest quality venues in the world including The Emirates Golf Club, Dubai and Yas Links, Abu Dhabi, where he held the position of Golf Operations Manager. An accomplished player before expanding his golfing CV, Martyn was once the Lancashire Boys Champion and represented England as an amateur golfer, before turning professional at the age of 18, off a Handicap of plus two. Professional highlights include progressing to the final stages of European Tour School on two occasions and setting a course record in the process. In the Pro Shop, Martyn aims to satisfy everyone’s golfing needs at the most competitive prices and stocks brands such as Callaway, Titleist, FootJoy and PING but can source any product that is required, however big or small, at the best price.
